What is your experience of unemployment in Bristol?

Unemployment figures have been consistently falling.  In Bristol our level of unemployment is now below where it was before the crash in 2008.  Bristol has created over 10,000 private sector jobs and 13,000 apprenticeships - helping young people into work.

But headline figures never tell the whole story, so I'm keen to hear about your direct experience.  Either as someone trying to find work, get more hours, or helping a friend or relative to get a job.  What kind of work have you been able to find? Or perhaps you're an employer, either creating jobs, or having to let people go.  How easy is it to recruit workers with the appropriate skills? Whatever your story I want to hear from you.

Please note that if you require direct help and want me to look into your case specifically and contact you with a reply, please email me directly on stephen.williams.mp@parliament.uk with your full name and address to ensure your case receives priority treatment.

Otherwise, please let me know your story below.
